In 2019, while hiking across Montana, I had a vision of my ancestor which told me to return to Seattle to pursue music. Two weeks later, I packed my possessions into my '93 Dodge Caravan and drove over the cascades for my first rehearsal with violinist Bryan Djunaedi. Within 3 months, we aired on Seattle radio station KISW. Several months later, we were selected for NPR's Tiny Desk Top Shelf, and I was interviewed on KEXP for their "Music Heals: Mental Health."
Unfortunately, COVID took a toll on us, and eventually our differences about the virus culminated in Bryan leaving the project. I'm currently performing solo in Sedona, AZ and looking for new band members. I plan to expand the project to drums and bass in addition to violin. Meanwhile, I'll appreciate the pause of another death/rebirth cycle.
There is much under the hood. Stay tuned.
